About This Cause

About an hour ago, my mom and dad were walking the dogs. They saw smoke, and then saw two younger kids running out of a house. The next thing they knew, the house burst into flames. The two that were home at the time wanted to run back into the house for their cat, but my mom told them it wasn't safe. An entire family is now displaced. They have multiple children, the oldest is 13. This is extremely difficult to watch, especially with it being so close to Christmas.

As they go through the process of finding a place to stay, rebuilding their home, and replacing their possessions, I ask that you would donate to help this poor family if you can. I will personally deliver any money collected. I'm sure they would appreciate any help they can get. Thank you in advance for anything you can do to make this a little easier.

All drop-off locations are now closed! Thank you for everything you all have done. Monetary donations to this website are still being accepted!

“Within five minutes, we set up a page on DonationTo.com and we asked a couple of other alumni to send an email appeal with a link to our page to our fraternity brothers. It was only a matter of minutes before the donations started coming in. Within 48 hours, we had raised over $10,000.”
