About This Cause

On Friday, January 13, 2017, a fire completely destroyed Al-Tech Truck Repair located on Factory Road in Sunnyside. The estimated total loss is $350,000-$500,000, and unfortunately, our insurance will not cover all the costs.
As devastating as this loss has been for our family, we know we are not alone. With single digit temperatures, other families have lost their homes and businesses to winter fires as well. Since November the small community of Sunnyside has experienced 13 fires. After receiving many offers of support the Stroh family and the nonprofit group, Valley Performing Arts Center, have joined forces to create a benefit dinner and auction. We hope that the funds raised at this event will help Allen (Al) and Gregory get thier shop back to functioning order before harvest. We will also be giving a portion of the funds raised at the auction back those effected most by the fires this winter. The Stroh Family is sincerely grateful for your donation. We love our community and are so blessed by the love the beautiful people have to offer here.
