About This Cause

This is PT's Story.... PLEASE READ.

PT Srinivasan, affectionately known as simply “PT”, was one of the most versatile people you would ever know. A huge lover of Biryani, he won hearts and minds of those who's lives he touched.

PT, Joined Frost & Sullivan in 2001, as an associate editor. For over 11 years, the Frost and Sullivan office was more than his second home. An excellent team player, during his tenure with the editing /production team, he was very enthusiastic and always looked for ways to improve his work and the team performance. During the tenure as a manager of the team, he always ensured his teams were taken care of. Later in his career at Frost & Sullivan he he transitioned to the India Practice to set up The Analytics team. It was here that PT found his true passion in developing unique products and processes to share data/information – directly impacting he way our critical knowledge is managed within the organization. In a short time span, he grew the team to 4 members and started delivering top notch products. At the organizational level, he was very passionate about the company and the Chennai office in particular. PT was always a positive force for improvement – often suggesting ways to make the work place better for everyone.

To say PT was synonymous with Kaladrishti, the annual cultural extravaganza of Frost, would be a MAJOR understatement. People in Chennai office often looked forward to his creative and stirring performances. A multi-talented personality, PT’s other passion was to act, sing and dance – all which he did very well. His skits continue to be well known and always provided entertainment that was and is unmatched. His other “noteworthy” accomplishments were in the realm of sports … Lemon-n Spoon to be exact. We should also not to forget how he finished the 100m dash 10 mins after all the participants crossed the finish line. That was PT…and always with a caring smile and gut splitting sense of humor. Anyone who talked to PT always left the conversation with a smile. In fact, he has a unique talent where he could make people smile by just looking at them.

But PT “the person” doesn’t stop there. He is a person who carried great human values who often expressed a true passion for his rich Indian roots. He would often discuss at great length about how India is the best place to be and also how we could make this country a better place to live. A great lover of food, art and music, he could name any movie or songs with just a background score. He also could name every single place that you can get good food. An avid antique collector, he was also a very passionate about his two cars, the Beatle and the Morris minor. He traveled far and wide across India to acquire, possess and care for these two gems.
If PT where here today, though, he’d tell you that non of this meant anything without the love and support of his wife, Aparna, and three beautiful children – his family. PT was a devoted husband and proud father who cherished the ground on which his family walked. He and Aparna made a wonderful professional team here at Frost & Sullivan and an even better couple. Their love will live forever…..

It is hard to believe that he is no longer with us and still brings tears in many hearts even thinking of his departure from this world. His physical presence may be missed but he will always with us in our thoughts, memories and prayers.

We need whatever monetary donation you can offer. 100% of any donations will be given to help support PT's family during this tough time in their lives. They REALLY need our help.
