The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence (CSGV) is a non-profit organization that has the goal of eradicating gun violence by using strategic engagements, research and effective methods of policy advocacy. As opposed to other similar anti-gun violence organizations, the CSGV is not a single group of people. Instead, they act as a coalition that unifies the actions of 47 smaller national organizations. By doing this, they have been able to gain access to support from people in various different professions, including social justice organizations, public health professionals and child welfare advocates. These affiliations provide the CSGV with a diverse grassroots network.

Even if you currently have no idea how to fundraise effectively, the website will provide you with everything that you need to get started quickly. Within just a few minutes, you will be ready to raise money online, and each of the donations will be processed to avoid credit card fees. Additionally, the website will also enable you to keep 100 percent of each donation to make it easier for you to meet your goal.

The CSGV does not intend to take away guns from law-abiding citizens, but they do have several campaigns that they believe will make the country safer for everyone, including closing the gun show loophole, microstamping and lobbying the federal government to make assault weapons illegal again. Each of their affiliate groups of the CSGV work both locally and nationally to help make these goals become a reality. However, the only way for all of these groups to continue fighting against gun violence is to receive the financial assistance of supporters. Although you could donate online to the CSGV, it is good idea to consider increasing the power of your contribution by hosting an online fundraising campaign.

Everyone has different fundraising ideas, and all of them are supported by the platform. After the fundraiser passed its initial goal, the focus was shifted to raising money to help provide for the children of the man who passed away during an avalanche. By using, the  has raised almost $30,000.

Making the decision to raise money online for a cause that you believe in is always the best way to accrue a large contribution. After all, most people will not go to the CSGV’s page just to make a $5 or $10 donation, but if you can convince everyone you know to donate that amount to your fundraiser, you will be able to make a sizable contribution to the non-profit by the time your campaign is over.
