With 6,000 dues-paying members from around the state, Alaska Center for the Environment is your voice for public lands conservation, clean air, clean water, and livable places. Our Mission To enhance the way of life in Alaska by ensuring clean food, air, water, and land for every generation by combining focused grassroots campaigns with strategic statewide collaboration. Our Vision Through active grassroots, statewide collaboration, and focused campaigns, Alaska Center for the Environment will defend and expand all Alaskans rights to clean air, water, land, and food. ACE will ensure for every generation the healthy environment that Alaskans depend on for subsistence, recreation, and jobs. Our Organization Founded in 1971, the Alaska Center for the Environment (ACE) is a non-profit, tax-exempt, public interest organization which depends on its active board, members, interns and volunteers. ACE influences decisions through grassroots activism and education. ACE also provides support to individuals and groups tackling localized concerns and promoting new ideas.
