Our Mission is to provide funding and direction for existing services of the community and/or establishing new outreaches to rescue children and young adults from sex trafficking and other dangerous and abusive environments, in association with local law enforcement and governing authorities. Our goal is to build some uniquely designed "safe houses," which provide maximum safety to endangered children. We provide hope through crisis counseling, trauma recovery programs and education, for a new beginning to survivors of sexual, cultic, ritual, clergy, sex trafficking, incest, physical and mental abuse, and their families where possible. We hope to incorporate a wing for a children's hospice, where possible, in order to provide love and comfort care to critically ill children, with support and love for their families. We plan to build a network of homes that are safe, which will provide at a minimum - foster care with counseling, to the maximum "safehouse" as described above, to meet the level of need for the child in need. Starbright Foundation will also promote awareness of the escalating crimes against children, causing human suffering within our communities and nation; thereby providing more opportunities for public and private support to encourage direct involvement through volunteerism and community assistance. Starbright Foundation, Inc. will strive to be a beacon of light for those in need.

Impact Summary from the Nonprofit In our first year of operation, SFI 's Directors and Volunteers without pay have helped dozens of families and individuals in need with free crisis counseling; rescues; food, clothing and furniture donations; participated on a panel on the "Dr. Oz Show" on sex trafficking of children in America; spoke on numerous TV and radio news programs in several states on the subjects of "Sex Trafficking of Children for Profit", "Human Trafficking and the Long Term Affects of Child Abuse", "Internet Safety in the Home" and "The Formation of Parent Patrol Teams" in high risk areas of child abductions to assist law enforcement.   SFI has made connections with numerous agencies throughout Arizona and the US, as well as Central America and Canada, to network together in providing safety, recovery, prayer, specialized counseling and mutual support for the child victims of human trafficking and their families. We are currently producing a documentary for public awareness release in 2012, specifically revealing the issues and realities that minor children face as victims within our legal systems locally and nationally.   SFI was gifted a house to use in early 2011 for our purposes, but local issues have prevented us from moving forward at this location helping young children, so we have provided families and adult victims with counseling, until we can relocate to another acceptable location. We will continue to go into the homes and neighborhoods directly to help the children. We have accomplished much without significant grants or gifts from outside our organization or government funding, through the commitment of our Directors, Volunteers and the community-at-large as individuals contributing time, labor and love.
