Through the empowerment of God, GAP Ministries will provide hope, help, and healing to those in need. We will defend the causes of the orphan, widow, hungry, and naked through practical community service. As we serve together, unity is established and the walls of religion and culture crumble. Gap Ministries STANDS IN THE GAP FOR THE COMMUNITY, fulfilling its mission in the following areas: � SPLASH Houses � GAP is the largest provider in Southern Arizona, licensed by the state for 14 residential group homes with full time live in house parents, providing family-style care to 130 children 0-18 years of age in the foster care system. � MERGE is for teens/young adults in the foster care system, and is designed to empower them to live independently, and discover their potential. � BOOST Community Resource Pantry - as a Good360 Community Redistribution Partner for Southern Arizona, GAP Ministries weekly distributes thousands of pounds of food, clothing and household goods to nonprofits in Southern Arizona serving the needy, ill and youth. � Backpack2School provides backpacks and needed supplies to elementary children at low income schools, with a carnival for the entire family, encouraging the importance of education. � Holiday of Hope - the community donates and wraps Christmas gifts, putting smiles on the faces of over 140 children in the custody of Arizona Child Protective Services by providing them with gifts from their wish lists. � Little Splashes, an Early Childhood Development Center for the community and foster children, is GAP Ministries' newest endeavor scheduled to open September 2013. GAP Ministries in not limited in our scope of services as long as programs fit with our mission to help widows, orphans, the hungry and naked. GAP is willing to attempt any endeavor that will fulfill this mission statement, and is always looking out for other ways to serve these populations, either as an agency or in collaboration with others.

Holiday of Hope puts smiles on the faces of children in the custody of Child Protective Services with gifts from their Christmas wish list.
