Flood strives to establish meaningful relationships with families and individuals in crisis so as to empower them to overcome their present, disadvantaged circumstances and receive Jesus Christ as their Savior.

Flood transitioned 130 individuals out of homelessness in 2012. Flood utilizes large community events, outreach and supportive services to engage Kern County's street homeless population in critical services. A variety of other intervention services are provided to more than 3,000 guests and participants including substance abuse support, educational opportunities, and personal navigation of community resources. Flood continues to see spiritual growth and a deepening relationship with Jesus in the lives of those consistently accessing resources and relationship through the ministry. 2013 promises to be another year of significant growth. The activities and educational opportunities at the Southeast Ministry Center are providing a higher level of engagement of some of our most chronically homeless residents. With a continued focus on the permanently disabled, Flood collaborates with a web of community resources to meet their complicated physical, emotional and spiritual needs in housing. Flood continues to strive to expand its support in the community. Flood is part of a growing collaboration of non-profits committed to life transformation in Jesus' name while reducing homelessness, gang violence and domestic violence. Flood is magnifying its presence in the Southeast neighborhood while engaging diverse ethnic groups in taking back their streets. Further development of our management team and Board of Directors continues to be a priority.
