Homelessness and Hunger are two of our nations most serious problems. In an effort to address this epidemic we are dedicated to assisting in breaking down barriers by housing, educating and feeding homeless families, low income individuals, veterans, and pregnant teens in a safe, caring and comfortable environment. We also provide quality resources, services and referrals for permanent housing. Our vision is to enhance the lives of local families and individuals by implementing programs that will equip our clients with the required tools needed for success.
The main concern for homeless individuals is quality of life. We focus on impacting their quality of life by giving them access to resources and opportunities. EMKs initiatives are to seek to increase accessibility for families and individuals to social service resources and enriched programs. Our efforts have resulted in providing permanent housing, hunger relief, job placement, and reduction in school drop-out rates by way - of - tutoring our children, enabling them to accomplish better grades in school.
