Their Mission Statement

Project Angkor provides free health care medication and follow up to the people in under served geographical areas of Cambodia, and train and educate Cambodian health care professionals.  Our goal is to assist in increasing the population of competent and skilled medical professionals in the under served areas of Cambodia, while provide healthcare to those in need.  With a current life expectancy of only 60 years, our efforts will enable the people of poverty stricken Cambodians to have increased access to modern healthcare, and enjoy a higher quality of life.

Summary of Impact

Project Angkor's medical missions provide humanitarian medical aid, and educates patients on basic healthcare and prevention practices.  In past medical mission, we have treated and educated over a thousand patients a day, and our services have restored vision, repaired teeth, cured disease, decreased pain and suffering, and increased the quality of life for countless people.  We include local doctors, giving them hands on training and lectures on advancements in western medicine.
