To partner with our community to provide a safe campus to deliver programs and services that inspire at-risk youith to learn new skills, gain self-esteem and confidence.

As we rapidly grow to meet the demands of our community, therehave been many accomplishments during the last few years. In 2011, Rancho Cielo received a $1.1 million YouthBuild grant through the Department of Labor. This grant has paid for the programmatic costs associated with our newest high school preparation and vocational training program. One year later, through the vocational training aspect of our YouthBuild program, we have been able to make great progress on Rancho Cielo�s transitional housing project. Rancho Cielo�s master plan includes a total of five transitional homes; we have nearly completed two homes and have begun construction on the third house. Our June 2012 graduation was also a major accomplishment. Seeing 61 students walk across our stage to receive their high school diploma as their family and friends cheered them on, was arguably one of our biggest accomplishments of the year. These were 61 young adults that made the conscious choice to join one of our programs, and redirect their lives away from harmful choices and instead become role models for those around them.   Our organizational goals for the next year include:   Programmatic Goals: * 70 percent diploma achievement and literacy and numeracy gain* 75 percent recidivism reduction * Continue to offer a broad set of enrichment activities including art, music, recreation, and field trips.   Post program goals:* 75 percent of students with full-time employment and/or enrolled in continued education  * 75 percent continued recidivism reduction   Campus-wide goals: * Have 4 houses of the Transitional Housing Village constructed * Begin programming for Transitional Housing
