To identify continuing needs of individuals with Down syndrome (DS), and create exploratory projects to meet those needs.
Summary of Impact
In 2007, DS Action partnered with Rady Children's Hospital San Diego to establish the Down Syndrome Center, the only center of its kind in Southern Califormia. Current goals include further development of a Professional Advisory Board and expansion of the clinic to teens and adults.
