The Parkinson's Association of San Diego (PASD) improves quality of life for those affected by Parkinson's through education, family services and suppport of promising research.
1. Served more patients and families then in any previous year with special educational and family programs. 2. Finished the financial year with a significant decrease in revenue due to recession, but still was able to provide services to an increasing number of families. 3. Added three new Board members which expand the ethnic nature of the Board to be more representative of the community 1. Continue to maintain our service components at a level as close to or above last year as possible 2. Work to bring in a balanced budget 3. Continue to expand our Outreach efforts to the Latino community and neurologists 4. Initiate the four-part Caregiver Wellness Workshop series. 5. Initiate the Emergency Room staff and Hospitalist training program 6. Complete our re-branding of the organization to more effectively communicate with all our audiences
