To educate and engage youth in community and world affairs, so they are prepared to thrive as responsible global citizens in the 21st century.

Since our founding in 2002, World Savvy has reached over 160,000 students and 1,900 educators. Teacher and student participants reported significant gains in the following areas: ·         Over 90% of educator participants are better equipped with the skills and knowledge to integrate global issues into curriculum and have been consistently integrating global content in the classroom. ·         Over 90% of student participants demonstrated increased knowledge about issues of local and global significance and improvement in global citizenship skills.                        ·         Students are more engaged in community and world affairs, and have translated their learning into service in their communities; they have also demonstrated enhanced identity as global citizens with better understanding of the rights and responsibilities associated with global citizenshithe stories of World Savvy youth and educators often provide the most compelling evidence of our impact. In the words of a principal: "World Savvy ... [has] always maintained perspective about how to best serve students through connecting with teachers and schools. They understand that just �providing� a resource doesn't mean that it will be used. They have developed systems and strategies to engage teachers and whole schools (for that matter, whole Districts in some cases) to help students learn and become involved in the study of global affairs. As school districts... write new mission statements that include the goal of educating global citizens, World Savvy's work is more important now than ever.�
