The Lake Dillon Theatre Company is a professional theatre committed to enhancing the quality of life in Summit County and the Colorado Front Range by providing unique and accessible cultural experiences through the Performing Arts. We increase imagination, engagement and empathy in our community through our performance, educational and outreach programing.
Impact Summary from the Nonprofit The Lake Dillon Theatre Company provides over 222 days of cultural and artistic programing a year to over 40,000 residents and visitors to our community. The Lake Dillon Theatre Company provides a wide variety of programing in order to serve the enrichment, education and entertainment needs of our diverse community. Our Youth Workshops (YTW) offers seasonal theatre camps to locals and visitors during the spring, summer, and fall months. In 2012, we offered five workshops for 112 students, 16 of which received full or partial scholarships. An estimated 1800 patrons attended the ten free YTW performances. In addition, the Lake Dillon Theatre Company Theatrical Season produces eight professional theater productions annually, our Adult Enrichment Initiatives impact approximately 2260 patrons annually, and the Sunset at the Summit concert series provides 10 free, family friendly concerts at the Dillon Amphitheatre each year, reaching over 30,000 patrons. 2012 8 nominations for Colorado Theatre Guild Henry Awards (Awards to be announced late July 2013.
