The Leesburg Center for the Arts exists for the purpose of promoting growth and vitality to the community by providing educational opportunities in the arts for all ages, providing cultural events for the community and providing a central location which attracts talented artists, artisans, musicians and appreciative audiences.

Impact Summary from the Nonprofit The CFA saw an increase in programming partnerships for 2012. We've begun to provide art education programs for all ages, from 4 to 100 through local VPK field trips as well as Assisted Living Facility monthly workshops. Our Songwriters Night series has expanded our CFA Live Presents program for Performing Arts. Concerts and workshops have been incorporated to further the craft of songwriting in Central Florida.We began several mentoring programs for "rising star" artists who are just learning how to market their work. We created exhibit opportunities, a section in our Art Festival, and other networking opportunities for these young artists.We've launched a new partnership with the Early Learning Coalition's "Big Blue Bus" mobile classroom. We are providing mobile art education programs for the Boys and Girls Clubs in our area and will be serving the VPK programs affiliated with the Early Learning Coalition in the fall. This year, our visits will be expanded to include CDC neighborhoods in our community on Saturdays and after school.
