Asian Cultural Association's (ACA) mission is to encourage the preservation of the ancient performing arts traditions of Asia and the Indian subcontinent. We seek to increase awareness of these traditions among Asian & non Asian audiences in an effort to preserve their continued existence in the modern world. ACA seeks to educate western performing arts students as to the unique character of these traditions in order to assist in integrating them into the mainstream of World Performing Arts.

Impact Summary from the Nonprofit For more than 20 years the Asian Cultural Association of Central Florida has been thrilling audiences with wondrous films, beautiful exhibits of sculpture, photography and traditional crafts, concerts featuring the exotic sounds of the harmonium, tabla and sitar and teaching the children of Central Florida about the far away and fascinating lands and culture of the Indian subcontinent.    Recently ACA has expanded its cultural outreach to seniors through the ARTS OF THE HEART youth performers project as well as projects by youth members to mentor other students in the MATH FOR LIFE and DOLLARS & SENSE programs in cooperation with Seminole County Public Schools. The consistently high quality of ACA�s programs are a result of the recommendations of an advisory board which consists of world renowned Asian artists and members from the local arts community and a long history of partnering with other local organizations and educational institutions.   ACA is proud to be a EIGHT TIME WINNER OF AWARDS FROM THE NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS to support our programming.   During the 2011-2012 season the Asian Cultural Association of Central Florida will once again offer an imaginative season of events that feature some of the highest caliber Asian artists performing today. Years of exceptional featured artists are indicative of the quality of performance ACA is able to bring to our community. The ACA mission is a commitment to the education and advancement of art and artists who represent the unique vibrancy and cultural diversity of the visual and performing arts traditions of Asia, and to the appreciation of their work by the general public.    ACA EDUCATION PROGRAMS are a corner stone of the organization. Each year ACA produces in class lecture/demonstrations and other smaller intensive programs in individual k-12 schools in Central Florida including the annual INDIA DAY at Heathrow Elementary.  The ACA�s education programs are led by local resident artists of India and provide an age appropriate interactive program on the arts and culture of India. These programs currently reach between 1,000 and 3,000 k-12 students in Central Florida annually and are provided by ACA at no cost to the schools or students.
