The mission of the Conservancy of Southwest Florida is to protect Southwest Florida�s unique natural environment and quality of life� now and forever. The Conservancy is a grassroots organization focused on the critical environmental issues of the Southwest Florida region. We work to protect land, water and wildlife, control unplanned growth and educate the public about South Florida�s wildlife. We used science-based research to inform government leaders and promote sound environmental policies and practices. We forge conservation partnerships on the local, regional and national level to have maximum impact. Research from our science department provides the basis for of that work that we do.

Impact Summary from the Nonprofit A Charting Impact Report consists of an organization�s responses to the five questions. Helping validate this self-reported data are three reviews. Once an organization has used the online interface to complete its report, its responses will produce a document with a unique URL that will be shared on this website, on your GuideStar profile, on the reports of charities participating in BBB Wise Giving Alliance evaluations, and � in the future � with other websites and information sources about nonprofits. We encourage organizations to use this URL to share their report on their own website and through their own media channels. Participants will receive guidance about promoting their Charting Impact Report, along with other benefits, once they publish their report. We envision a region where our land, water and wildlife are protected, our citizens are informed and our leaders make decisions with the health, well-being and sustainability of our region�s natural environment in mind. We seek to increase and share our knowledge of the natural world through continued scientific research and promoting sound environmental policies. Through collaboration with our partners we work to protect a high quality of life for both our current residents and generations to come.
