Junior Achievement of Central Florida's (JACF) vision is ""All graduating students in Central Florida are financially literate; grounded in free enterprise, leadership and entrepreneurial principles and ready for the workforce. They are inspired and prepared to lead and succeed in a global economy."" JACF connects the business community, educators, and volunteers � all working together to inspire young people to dream big and reach their potential. For fifty-one years, JACF has focused on helping young people understand the world of business and learn how to be successful in life. At Junior Achievement, we give young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices. Our corporate and community volunteers deliver relevant, hands-on experiences that give students from kindergarten through high school knowledge and skills in financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship. JA programs empower students to make a connection between what they learn in school and how it can be applied in the real world - enhancing the relevance of their classroom learning and increasing their understanding of the value of staying in school.

Impact Summary from the Nonprofit During the 2011-12 school year, Junior Achievement of Central Florida reached nearly 75,000 students in over 4,100 classes with Junior Achievement programs. More than 3800 volunteers helped to deliver the programs to the students. JACF's Strategic Plan 2015 articulates our envisioned future as: Our Role ■ JACF is an educational leader in centralFlorida. ■ We produce measurable results with our programs. ■ We work closely with our local partners to impact students at all grades (K through 12), with a focus on middle and high school students, tapping the best JAUSA programs. ■ The JA Academy for Leadership and Entrepreneurship is our signature program aimed at building entrepreneurial and leadership skills for area high school students. We will graduate students from the JA Academy who make a difference in our community. ■ Through enhanced technology and the support of JAUSA, we continually innovate to make our programs more efficient, relevant, and meaningful to students, partners, investors, and our community. To accomplish this, JACF will focus on the following strategies: Student Impact ■ Emphasize programs to middle and high school students. ■ Expand financial literacy education by introducing Finace Park Virtual to high school students. ■ Establish the JA Academy be the pinnacle experience in developing our future leaders and entrepreneurs. Operational Excellence and Sustainability ■ Develop a measurement strategy to assess the impact of our programs in meeting the needs of students and our community. ■ Innovate our programs in partnership with JAUSA to keep them relevant using enhanced technology in our approach. Resources ■ Augment our transactional funding model to focus on lifelong investment. ■ Expand our leadership in building close partnerships with other nonprofits, the business community, public school systems, UCF and other local colleges on workforce readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship programs.
