The Orlando Ballet seeks to entertain, educate and enrich the cultural growth of our community through the highest quality of dance.

Impact Summary from the Nonprofit A Charting Impact Report consists of an organization�s responses to the five questions. Helping validate this self-reported data are three reviews. Once an organization has used the online interface to complete its report, its responses will produce a document with a unique URL that will be shared on this website, on your GuideStar profile, on the reports of charities participating in BBB Wise Giving Alliance evaluations, and � in the future � with other websites and information sources about nonprofits. We encourage organizations to use this URL to share their report on their own website and through their own media channels. Participants will receive guidance about promoting their Charting Impact Report, along with other benefits, once they publish their report. The 2012/13 mainstage season included Vampire's Ball, October 19-21, 2012; The Nutcracker December 2-23, with live accompanied by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. Hollywood En Pointe, a new production choreographed by Artistic Director Robert Hill from February 15-16, 2013. In addition to Hill, the production featured choreography of Peter Chu and Arcadian Broad. The season closed with Carmina Burana, in partnership with the Bach Festival Society from April 12-14, 2013. The Family Series presented Hansel & Gretel, October 20 ;The Nutcracker, December 22-23; and The Little Mermaid on April 13. Efforts to broaden its audience base included, Uncorked! at The Abbey, as well as Family Series performances at The Garden Theatre in Winter Gardens and Osceola Center for the Arts. The Ballet's outreach programs awarded more than $200,000 in scholarships ensuring that underserved youth in our community have the opportunity to study dance regardless of their ability to pay. Orlando Ballet added a 4that-risk elementary school to its STEPS Program, growing that program by more than 45% to serve 62 students during the school year. Orlando Ballet presented more than 60 free outreach performances and reached more than 14,000 2nd grade Orange County students. A pilot program, Adaptive Dance for children with Down syndrome was launched. The Orlando Ballet's 2013-14 40th Anniversary Season will kick off with "Tribute" a weekend of celebrated fan favorites and pas de deux from Mr. Hill's tenure, followed by "Romeo & Juliet," the world premiere "Some Assembly Required" and "Carmen." The Family Series will present "Snow White" and "Beauty and the Beast." Our holiday favorite, "The Nutcracker" will feature live orchestration by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. Additional performances will be held at the Garden Theatre in Winter Garden and The Abbey in Downtown Orlando, as well as performances new venues such as the Osceola Center for Performing Arts in Kissimmee.
