Project 180 seeks to reintegrate former offenders into community life as productive, self-sustaining citizens through education, rehabilitation and job skill training.
Impact Summary from the Nonprofit Top accomplishments: * Doubled revenues from the previous year while tripling net income. * Launched The CEO Program at DeSoto Annex and Hardee Correctional Institution (Department of Corrections prisons) reaching 160 prisoners and 7 CEOs. * Established a formal partnership with a sister nonprofit and secured an agreement for housing for our Residential Program (housing is not yet available but is secured). * Updated Strategic Plan, created a new Communications, Marketing and Fundraising Plan to guide Project 180 over the next two years and wrote a referral handbook of housing resources for offenders who are reentering the Twelfth Judicial Circuit. * Produced a video for use on The Giving Partner and the Project 180 website. Goals: * Increase size of Board to a minimum of six Directors. * Increase delivery of CEO Program to six per year to reach 500 prisoners and 24 CEOs. * Save for the Residential Program. * Hold a Community Forum in April, May and June called ""Strong Women/Strong Subjects"" to transform the community silence around reentry to a community conversation. * Redesign website and update marketing materials.
