The Winter Park Playhouse mission is to entertain, uplift and inspire residents and visitors by producing year-round professional musical theatre, cabarets and educational outreach programs that enhance the quality of life in Central Florida.

Impact Summary from the Nonprofit A Charting Impact Report consists of an organization�s responses to the five questions. Helping validate this self-reported data are three reviews. Once an organization has used the online interface to complete its report, its responses will produce a document with a unique URL that will be shared on this website, on your GuideStar profile, on the reports of charities participating in BBB Wise Giving Alliance evaluations, and � in the future � with other websites and information sources about nonprofits. Participants will receive guidance about promoting their Charting Impact Report, along with other benefits, once they publish their report. The 2012-2013 Series was the most successful year in the theatre's ten year history despite the challenging economic climate. The top five accomplishments from 2012-2013 included: Being selected as the Community Organization of the Year by the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce.Receiving the Business Recognition Award from the City of Winter Park.Doubling Annual Series Subscriptions to 490.Engaging and uplifting over 8,000 underserved children (25,000 since 2009) in Title I elementary schools through our educational outreach program R.E.A.CH (Relevant Educational Arts for Children).Serving over 25,000 residents and visitors. The top five goals for this year are: Successfully producing seven Mainstage musical productions, twelve Spotlight cabarets and an educational outreach program. Securing a permanent, non-rented location for the Playhouse. Touching the lives of 10,000 children through the R.E.A.CH outreach program.Adding two to three new members to Board of Directors.Increase contributed income by 25% to $200,000.
