Impact Summary from the Nonprofit Assisted 292 families and provided more than $1.5 million in direct financial assistance for unmet needs. Adopted more than 100 families during the holidays, delivering more than $100,000 in gifts to families from the community. Raised $1.1 million for childhood cancer research by shaving 1,800 northern Nevada heads at local St. Baldrick’s events. Traveled to Washington, D.C. nine times to meet with Nevada legislators to educate them of the importance of increased research funding. Distributed 10,000 gold ribbon pins to educate our community.
